Good friends always enjoy the same type of activities — or at least are willing to participate in each other's interests. Some friends enjoy staying busy and are constantly on the go. Second, while friendship is full of compromise, it helps if you choose friends who share a lot of your interests. It makes deciding on stuff to do easier. You don't have to choose a friend who likes every single little thing you do, but it undoubtedly helps to have some shared interests.
